Meet Our Director
Jermesha Fairchild
Jermesha is the Founder and Executive Director of Moving Forward Community Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing financial and life challenges through various outreach programs.
While her family faced financial hardships and having to live in shelters from time to time, Jermesha remembers mostly the love and determination of her single mother who worked hard to provide for her family. Though her family faced final hardships, that didn't deter her mother from housing and feeding anyone who could use the extra support. As a young adult she began to realized how much had been sacrificed behind the scenes so that she and her siblings could feel safe and cared for.
Those experiences shaped Jermesha’s passion for service and community. Today, Moving Forward Community Foundation provides outreach support, and resources to help individuals and families keep moving forward regardless of challenges they may face.
